On a very warm Friday evening in late June, the band made their debut performance at the beautiful St Luke’s Church in Tittensor. They played a wide variety of music including solo items from Josh Stevenson on Flugel – ‘The Seal Lullaby’ by Eric Whitacre. Will Mancini on soprano cornet – ‘Solitaire’ by Neil Sedaka and Philip Cody. The horn section got the audience singing with their rendition of Paul Mc Cartney’s ‘Hey Jude’ by Lennon and McCartney. Amongst other tunes there was ‘Florentine March’, ‘James Bond Collection’, ‘Miller Magic’, ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘One Voice’. The church provided much needed refreshments and delicious cakes during the interval.
The band were delighted with the comments they received after the concert.
