On Sunday 26th February the band had an early start when they went down to the Cube at Corby to take part in the Midlands Area Brass Band Championships. There was a quick rehearsal at Great Easton Village Hall before dashing over to the Cube. The band were awarded 10th place – not the result we had hoped for but this was the first year in the 3rd Section following promotion in January and puts us in a secure position for next year.
