Trentham Brass Band were delighted to take part in the Big Fountain Switch on today in Hanley Park,. The 1894 Hammersley Fountain was switched on for the visiting public, possibly for the first time in living memory.The band also made an appearance on Midlands today both at lunchtime and in the evening!
The Lord Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent, councillors and members of the public were treated to a varied program including Game of Thrones (the fountain has 3 dragons), Post Horn Gallop (with real post horns) along with other contempory arrangements.
