One Saturday evening in October the band travelled to the Jubilee Club in Trent Vale to entertain the Stoke branch of the Association at their Annual Dinner. This was a new venue for the band. The event fell on the same day as the Brass Band Finals for the Championship Section at the Royal Albert Hall in London so Shaun was otherwise engaged for the evening. The band was very ably conducted by our training band MD Hal Walker. The good news for the evening was that Shaun and the rest of Fodens came first in the contest.
